This is the first installment in a series of video game music theory analysis videos that I'll be doing. I choose to start with a game published in 2017 called Layton's Mystery Journey. You can read more about the game here. The audio content is comprised of arpeggiating piano, woodwinds, strings (bowed and pizzicato), and drums. It's a 30 second segment that I walk through using Logic X and a plugin called Sonivox, which I use for most of my orchestral arrangements. Enjoy!
